Trail Rides at Tamarack Stables
Visit Tamarack Stables and take a trail ride on our beautiful wooded trails along Pohick Creek. Our horses are well-trained and well-behaved, but certainly not dull. Trail riding offers benefits for everyone!
Our stable is adjacent to Pohick Bay Regional Park, with miles of trails that connect to BLM's Meadowood Trail network.
A deposit of $60.00 is due when booking a trail ride. Deposit is only refundable in the case of bad weather.
A confirmation from our website confirms we have received your request for a trail ride. It is not a confirmation of booking.

YOU CAN BOOK AT ANYTIME, BUT IT IS BEST TO GIVE US AS MUCH NOTICE AS POSSIBLE.
Riders must wear long pants, closed-toe shoes. No flip-flops or sandals. We prefer that you wear a shoe with a heel. Bring your bicycle helmet or you can use one of our Riding helmets. Helmets must be worn on your trail ride.
If you like you may bring treats for the horse. (carrots, apples, sugar cubes).
